Redwise
When you think of adventure, you think of Redwise. Since 1906, Redwise has been one of the most versatile maritime employers. We specialize in a unique field: Ship Delivery. This involves transporting all types of ships worldwide from A to B for our clients. This could be from the shipyard to the shipping company, between two locations of the client, or from the seller to the buyer. In addition to Ship Delivery, we have expanded our services over the years to include crew management and North Sea pilots. With crew management, we deploy seafarers, sailing on behalf of our clients for both short- and long-term assignments. Moreover, we operate our own research vessel, the ARCTIC. Thanks to this diversity of services, we can offer a very flexible approach towards our team of seafarers and provide the role you are looking for.
We are currently looking to strengthen #TEAMREDWISE with you as a Second Engineer. At Redwise, no two journeys are the same. You will sail on ships of the most varied types. Ships can be new, old, large, small, and quite special. Moreover, you will visit exceptional destinations and bunkering ports. Your qualities as a Second Engineer lie in good seamanship, knowledge, and commitment.
As a Second Engineer at Redwise, you will:
What Redwise promises you is not a daily grind, but a job full of variety:
What do you bring on board?

Redwise is a leading specialist in maritime services. Our roots date back to 1906, beginning with the worldwide delivery of ships under their own power, known as ship delivery. Redwise has built and maintained a reputation for reliable maritime services in Ship Delivery, Crewing, DCP services and Chartering. Our promise is that we deliver.
We take pride in our ability to successfully complete complex projects. Redwise delivers dozens of ships annually under their own power, ranging from tugs and fishing vessels to large crude oil tankers and ferries. Redwise is the most experienced and leading specialist globally.
More than 100 years ago, it all started as a ship delivery company. Later a second specialization evolved: the deployment of specialized maritime personnel. Redwise provides full crew management services and deploys personnel both individually and in teams. The majority of our Dutch officers are permanently employed, ensuring continuous service quality. In 2018, Redwise acquired the deep-sea pilot services and VTS services from Royal Dirkzwager, further expanding our specialized maritime services. In 2021, Redwise officially became a shipping company after purchasing the research vessel "Arctic," which is primarily used by our clients for seabed research.
At Redwise, we are known not only for our specific and specialized services but also for our personal approach. Our mission is to take good care of all stakeholders: clients, employees, suppliers and the environment. With over a century of experience and constant anticipation of changes within the maritime sector, Redwise remains committed to delivering high-quality maritime services. We aim to be a market leader in the niche markets in which we operate.
