As an electrician , you are part of the Engine Room team. You work closely with Chief Engineer and 2E and together you guarantee the safe and efficient maintenance, troubleshooting and repair off all Electronic-Electrical and computer based equipment. You are Responsible for monitoring all Electronics and Electrical equipment on board to maximize the operational safety and efficiency of the vessel.
for cargo plant related repairs, you will work with the deck team as well, headed up by the Chief Officer.
Requirements and preferences
Next to all mandatory STCW training, we require:
Higher electrical/electronical education
Advanced Gas Tanker certificate
Good command of English language
Experience with mixed nationality crew
preferably experienced with PLC’s
