In this role, you will work closely with experienced engineers and learn about the operation and maintenance of our fleet of vessels. You will assist in carrying out routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of the ship’s engine room. Additionally, you will participate in safety drills and emergency response training to ensure the highest level of safety standards are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the maintenance and repair of ship engines, machinery, and equipment
Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks under the guidance of senior engineers
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving equipment malfunctions
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
Participate in training programs to enhance technical knowledge and skills
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong interest in the maritime industry and a desire to pursue a career as a Engine Officer. You should also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as you will be working closely with a diverse team onboard our vessels.

Valid Engine Cadet Certificate or equivalent qualification
