As a 2nd Engineer , you are the manager of the Engine Room. You work closely with CE and you assist him in the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the cargo system, engine room and deck machinery. You carry such watch keeping duties as required by C/E. You need to have electrical maintenance knowledge and trouble shooting. Also the update of maintenance system and work reports are part of your daily tasks onboard. In the event of incapacity or absence you should be able to assume the responsibilities of CE, holding the required certification.

Requirements and preferences
Next to all mandatory STCW training, we require:
•Advanced Gas Tanker certificate
•Good command of English language
•Experience with mixed nationality crew
