Jifmar is a worldwide maritime operator. As a core business, we charter workboats for our clients. When we bought the JIF Xplorer, that was a tuna fish vessel and we transformed it to a multi-purpose survey vessel for the behalf of the French Ministry of Defence. To do that it had been cut in two parts to add the back deck and a 25 t gantry. Thus, we have developed the use of this type of vessel as well as the habits of our sector of activity. The multi-purpose vessel, which is at the heart of our business, is the very first illustration of this. One of the most recent examples is Canopée, the first hybrid industrial cargo ship.
